No. You can start using Lorelio immediately without creating an account, providing an email address, or signing in. Your story exists only on your device and in your personal iCloud account.

Interviews work fully offline on a single device since all AI processing happens locally. An internet connection is required for iCloud sync between your iPhone and iPad, downloading the app, and sharing your autobiography via a web link.

Yes, completely. Every part of the AI — speech recognition, interview question generation, and prose writing — runs entirely on your device. Your voice recordings, transcripts, photos, and autobiography content are never sent to any server. We don't have access to your stories, and neither does anyone else.

Every other memoir and autobiography app sends your voice recordings and personal stories to cloud servers for AI processing. Lorelio is the only app that processes everything on-device. Your deepest memories never leave your phone. This isn't just a feature — it's the foundation of how Lorelio is built.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app removes all your local content. We strongly recommend exporting your autobiography before uninstalling. Your data will also remain in your iCloud account until you choose to delete it there.

No. We currently do not collect any analytics or usage data. We never collect, transmit, or have access to your autobiography content, voice recordings, photos, or any personal information within your stories.

Absolutely. You can upload photos from your library, and Lorelio will use the dates, locations, and context from those photos to spark deeper conversations about specific memories. Photos are woven into your autobiography alongside the written narrative.

Premium users can export their autobiography as a beautifully formatted PDF, a Word document (.docx), or a shareable web link. The PDF and Word formats are designed for professional printing.

Yes. The free tier includes 3 full interview sessions, a preview of your first chapter, up to 5 photo uploads, and the basic timeline view. All AI processing is available at full quality — we don't limit the AI in the free tier.
